DucStudio is a husband and wife design team tucked in a corner of Rhode Island. We love good design and the satisfaction that comes from making good things work.
Ulana’s career started in arts non-profits where in addition to planning classes, installing exhibits and balancing the books, she found herself redesigning websites and producing print materials. After leaving the non-profit world to have a pair of kids, she started freelancing with Danny on web design projects. The bug bit hard, and now her toolbox contains HTML, CSS and UX in addition to Creative Suite. Always looking to solve a problem, Ulana isn’t happy until she’s figured it all out.
Since designing his first website as a teen in 1995, Danny has found a niche for himself in as a web designer who speaks developer and works in government. He has worked on government design projects at the White House, the State governments of Hawaii, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, and many others across the country. Recently, Danny served as a member of the inaugural class of Presidential Innovation Fellows at the White House, working on project MyGov - an initiative charged with reinventing the relationship between citizens and government. Currently part of the AdHoc team, he is still hard at work bringing good design to government.
